Bracelet Maker
At this place, they'll create a special and original jewelry for you right away. You can choose from a series of bracelets, necklaces, rings, or mirrors. They curve writings and drawings with a special tool. Some people ask for them to curve things on to their phones.
The excellent thing is they create it right away, and you get to watch them curve the writings.
Although most of them don't speak English, there isn't much language needed in this process, so you should be fine even if you don't speak Japanese at all. Just point to an item you want him to curve things on to, and he'll hand you a note-pad where you write what you want him to curve.
It will be helpful if you write exactly where you want him to curve what:)
There are several bracelet maker stands such as this in Harajuku, so they're really competitive and willing to negotiate. Be sure to ask him what he's charging BEFORE he starts curving because once he starts curving, you can't negotiate the price.
TIP: the price depends on how many colors you're using on your bracelet, as well as the amount of glitter. If you're curving on silverware and are not using any colors, the average price should be around ¥600 depending on the size of the item. If you're creating a bracelet and are using more than 4 colors with glitter, the price may be around ¥1,200. If you're making a bracelet, I recommend you use 2 colors with glitter, then the price should be under ¥1,000.

MomoMost of the clothes store in Harajuku are goths/emo style, however this store is more suited for everyday wear.
The clothes here are surprisingly cheap for its quality. You can find stuff here like the ones you'd find at Shibuya 109, except it's much cheaper. I especially like the 2nd floor, they have trendy T-Shirts here for around ¥1,000. LOCATION: It is located on the Takeshita Street, across from a big building called Daiso. Entering from the station side, this store will be on the right-hand side. It is fairly big so you should have no problem spotting this. |
